MYCIC problem

i have an issue and i urgently need help. i am an international student in canada. completed 6 months of study and now i want to apply for EVN no so that i can apply for work permit. the problem is ,when i first attempted to apply for EVN , in the last section of application where we have to give signature there was an issue regarding my given name and last name . i tried all the alternatives but nothing helped. i contacted cic customercare they sent me an email suggesting to make new MYCIC account . so i revoked my previous account and made a new MYCIC . But now in new account , on my homepage there is no link to APPLY for EVN . What should i do now.? i am so much worried . please help me.

It is important when you register again to provide your client i.d. number. I had the same problem a week ago, when I re-registered I had nothing showing on My CIC page, like I never applied for any document before. Then I re-registered and provided mu client id number during registration and it worked. However, MyCiC has some technical issues at the moment, I am also trying to request EVN, but my problem after I sign my name it navigates me to the document checklist, there are no documents required when requesting EVN, so when I click next I get that verification page where I have to sign again and then document checklist, so I never can get to the stage where I submit my application. How is this for MyCiC technical problem? Did anybody encounter the same issue?

yes i re-registered it and also put my client id but still m not getting that link. first time i also faced this problem. but i am also looking for answer. if any body know anything about this problem plz help us.

did u tried contact with cic through calling customercare and email?

I shared the problem with CIC through my online application. I got an automated email that they will respond within 2 business days. I think many people are experiencing technical problems with myCIC these days because the site is overloaded, everybody is trying to apply for OCWP. Nothing we can do at this point, let's keep trying over the weekend and if it still doesn't work we'll see what CIC's solution will be.

I have been trying all day today to apply for the OCWP online and I am also experiencing the same difficulty. Everytime I sign the agreement to apply for EVN, and then click 'next', it takes me back to the same page to ask to agree and sign the form again. So frustrating!

yes its so frustrating ... i have tried many times i have entered my client id properly but still there is no link on my home page to apply for EVN. whosoever is facing these kind of problems i request all to keep in touch in this forum and please keep updating if anybody get any solution.

Have the same problem as the other people in this thread, tried again a few minutes ago with no results. It's really worrying me as its delaying the whole process of the application.

Emailed them during the weekend, no answer yet. The glitch remains.

No luck yet. I went to the international students center at my college today and saw many students asking the same question about their OCWP applications. Nobody is able to submit it. However, one of the staff told me that somebody was able to submit their application during the irregular hours. I also found out that these technical issues happen every time during the busy season, so it's pretty normal for CIC. Keep trying, we'll be able to submit it eventually.

Any update guys? I called CIC today again, they said they are aware that there's some issue with EVN but it will require them 10 working days to reply to the email that I sent them yesterday. I just don't understand that if they are already aware that there's an issue with MyCIC, why not just resolve it on your own rather than relying on customer's complaint first and then taking 10 days to resolve the problem! I am highly frustrated!

I received information n from my University Intentional department. So even they know about that problem, hereby I can suggest that the problem will be fixed within next days.
