MyCIC not working since the start of June 2014

Hello Friends,

Has anyone successfully used MyCIC (the online tool to submit visa applications) since the start of this month? I can log on to the tool and it even asks me verification questions but stops working right at the very last step, saying: we are updating our website. Is it really so that they are updating their site for so long?

So what do you exactly want to do? Be specific please. As far as I understand from your statement above, you are a visitor and you want to change your status to student while staying in Canada. You want to submit your application using the online tool???????? Is that the case?

any update ?

for me:
I phoned CIC call center again, they told me that I can send my application on paper at an office inside Canada, but not online right now,

but I observed that they are somewhat confused regarding the new regulations, one agent answered me then went to check/confirm then she told me to hold to speak with another agent, which in turn received my question and went to check/confirm for almost 5 min.
and after waiting, she told me that you can apply on paper from within Canada,

Regarding to online application, I expect to be fixed by or at June 14th, as propain expects

I had the same problem and I fortunately submitted my application today and paid the fees and got the biometric message right away. The solution is to do the questionari again and delete the old application and start a new one with the new checklist code, I had to do the Questionari three times and I encountered several errors but at the end I was successful. Hope you all be successful

Nisht thanks for the update. Where are you based? I tried what you said in the above post but it did not work. I might need to do a paper application instead as I have very limited time left.
