I just came back to canada and i will be sending in my cec application by june ending. i am including my dependants and they are still back home. my question is since they are back home and i am in canada, which visa office will i use for my cec processng?? should i still use buffalo or use visa office back home since my kids lives there?????

Another thing is dat i have completed more than 1950 hrs since october 2010 till date. infact my hours are more than 2300. These hours are not consistent since i worked for 4 different employers. i have 1685hrs from one, 480hrs from another, 270hrs from the other and 101hrs from the other. All jobs are qualified for cec. The 270hrs employer issued me t5 instead of t4 and i got t4s from the rest. They are all willing to write me reference letters for immigration. I have pay stubs for 1685hrs employer and 480hrs from other employer but no pay stubs for the rest. The 1685hrs employer is willing to write the letter that i worked 60hrs biweekly on average making it 30hrs/week. My question is how the other employers will write the letter since i didnt work too long for them and sometimes i dont work for them at all for a whole week or months. how will i handle this?????? pls help suggest for me...Thnx guys

first, try to get copies of all of your Records of Employment.

There is no record of employment as i am still employed with those companies. Never had any issues. just need to know how they can compile letters for me. Thnx Jes for responding.but i still need to know what to do.. pls help

Oh, that's right... nurse, right?

It's better to have the hours in the Letter of Employment. If you have all your pay stubs, just sit down and make a spreadsheet for each employer that lists the week by dates and the number of hours worked for that week:

WEEK HOURS WORKED
Jan 1 - Jan 7, 2012 32
Jan 8 - Jan 14, 2012 16
Jan 29 - Feb 4, 2012 12

TOTAL 60

If it's biweekly, then do that.

Give it to the person writing the letter and ask that they include it in the letter (if it's really long, attach it at the back). You can show the paystubs to your employer if they want to verify.

You can insert this in the letter or attach it if it's really long.

You can choose the visa office that serves your country of nationality, or you can choose CPP-O. Since you've just returned, you probably missed the info that the Buffalo office has been closed. Applicants now have to choose CPP-O instead of Buffalo as the visa office.

Which one you choose is your choice. The location of your dependents doesn't really matter. In the unlikely event you get called for an interview, you will have to go there (usually just the principal applicant). If you get a passport request, you will have to send all passports there. Only you know which is better for you.
