My Wife Is Visiting Me In Canada. Can She Do Her Medical Exam Here?

Hello Everyone,

My wife came to Canada to visit me this week and she will be here for about 2 months, the only issue is that i just received an e-mail from Immigration asking her and her daughter to do the medical exam with in 30 days.

Is it possible for her to get it done here and her daughter get her's done in Brazil or will my wife have to travel back to Brazil to get it done there?

If anyone has had this situation before please advise.

It can be done by any CIC panel approved physician. She can do it in Canada.

Oh and her daughter is in Brazil and is only 12, in which case her Grandmother would bring her to get it done, is she allowed to do that also?

Sorry, no idea. Can't see why it would be an issue though, but I really don't know.

Can do it at any approved physician. I did mine in Ottawa and it wasn't too expensive, ~270CAD if I remember correctly. You should book ahead to avoid surprises.
