I'm an international student in the University of Waterloo. I and my wife have been here In Canada for more that 12 months. I have a study permit for 4 years and my wife has a work permit for 4 years. I filled the permanent residence application. My wife is pregnant now. We expect to deliver the baby by November 2010 (after 5 months). She will deliver the baby here in Canada. So, the baby will be a Canadian citizen and does not need to be immigrant. I would like to send my application these days. Do we have to change the application after delivering the baby?

If the baby is born, while your application is still in process, you MUST MUST notify CIC. CIC will contact you informing submission of additional documents. Failure to do so may jeopardize your PR application.

The OP just have to amend their application to show the child in their IMM 5406 as they child will be canadian that is the end of it.

should u notify VO once ur pregnant or once baby is born?

Born, as it really doesn't exist as a person until that happens.

Any change in family size must be notified to CIC. It could increase if a baby is born or it could decrease if someone in the family dies.
