My wife having a baby in Cambodia,

I sponsored my wife sometime ago and she was refused. We have appealed and she has since become pregnant. Late November during my last visit. She is due in late August and I will be taking her to a private room at a hospital there.

Should I be getting health insurance for her or our baby? I mean, it occurred to me that if something went wrong, I might be having to pay a lot to the hospital.

You can try to get insurance but they quite often will not cover pregnancy or birth, especially if you apply during the pregnancy.

I checked a few places today and it seems you are right. I'm not really trying to get coverage for the birth but just for the baby after it's born.

Everything seems to be flowing well, however, for him he has to get a DNA test to prove that the child is his before he can sponsor his wife and child over. It's an extra process and will require more capital. I'm not sure if this applies to everyone sponsoring a child, but I hope it goes well for you.

And my gf is now pregnant with our baby.....So I would like to ask....would it be better to re-apply for a visitor visa or prospective marriage visa or a partner visa????

Canada has no prospective marriage visa. What do you mean by a partner visa? Do you mean sponsoring her for permanent residency? If so, then to sponsor her for permanent residency you must either be married or common law (have lived together for at least one full year). I think it's unlikely the visitor visa will be approved if you reapply.
