I think you have to be clear here first. Now were you sponsored by your wife? You said you're now PR, are you saying you have landed here in Canada and went back home to Phils.? The reason that I've asked that is, If you haven't completed your landing then you're not a PR yet. I totally understand the emotion that you're going through, but you have to think what's best considering that you have a son. Settle your PR status here first, established yourself then action with your marital status.patch156 said:my wife work there for 5 years now, and this year we our process our permanent resident now,im in the philippines with my son, and this year also we our now going to canada, and i found out that she was cheating on me,, what case can i file? Can i report him in immigration canada,,
Who is the "him" you trying to report to immigration? The person who your wife cheated with? If so - no, you can't report him to immigration. You can't report him to anyone. He hasn't done anything illegal. Immoral - sure. Illegal - no.patch156 said:my wife work there for 5 years now, and this year we our process our permanent resident now,im in the philippines with my son, and this year also we our now going to canada, and i found out that she was cheating on me,, what case can i file? Can i report him in immigration canada,,
I assume you're married in the Philippines so how can she divorce you when there's no divorce in the Philippines?patch156 said:my wife cheated on me in last 4 years, he wants to divorce me, after we go to canada,we already receive our PR now, can i file him an adultery case,, or can i deport hin in philippines,,
???..so who cheated on who..the wife?or the husband?patch156 said:my wife cheated on me in last 4 years, he wants to divorce me
She can divorce him here in Canada. It won't be recognized by the Philippines but it will be by Canada and the rest of the world.fiona_baby said:I assume you're married in the Philippines so how can she divorce you when there's no divorce in the Philippines?

Maybe he found out about the cheating just recently when he and his son were approved and about to come to canada.
And he is asking if he can deport the wife or file a case against her. Hope i'm right
If that is what he meant, then he has to decide if he wants to come live in Canada or not. If he does want to, he and the child can land in Canada. Most likely he does not have Condition 51, since they have a child.Marulara said:I think what he is trying to say is, he and his son are about to come to Canada but his wife told him she is going to divorce him when he arrives in Canada because she is already seeing someone else. He should not report the wife to CIC or the government. She has done nothing illegal, and nothing wrong according to immigration rules. If he does report her, the most likely result is that his own PR visa would be cancelled, since their marriage has broken down. Technically, if he has not landed yet, he should not - the marriage has broken down, which should technically be reported to CIC, and then his visa would be revoked. If he hopes to reconcile, go ahead and land.
