It is not good when they reject TRV but better if they do it quickly so we can make a stronger case quickly.

Applied 4 months ago for TRV but they are sleeping on it. No response. UAE processing center very very backlogged. BAD!

Been to Canada 4 times ; wife kids Canadian.

hi all,

it has been 40 days now since i re-applied for the visa. Before my first application, i have put a date of 25th May as my travel date and presented the hotel booking and ticket booking for the same. They reply came in 15 days with the refusal and re-applied again after 2 days on 19th April 2016 and still waiting for the reply.

My travel date has already expired, do i need to update them with the new tentative date?

I have already send the case specific query and no reply until now?

Please advice.

Yes, it most likely is. Cautiously optimistic.

Hi,

i am in the process of re-applying.
In the application form:

In the section for country of residence, what should i mention "Worker" or "Permanent Resident". I am living and working here in UAE for the past 10 years. Our visas get renewed every 3 years. Can i select others and mention "Residence Visa"?
Hi
May i know what answer you have selected in this inquiry?

his refers to your application for a temporary resident visa to Canada. I have completed my assessment of your application and I have determined that you do not meet the requirements for a temporary resident visa; therefore, your application is refused.

In reaching a decision, an officer considers several factors; these may include the applicant’s travel and identity documents, reason for travel to Canada, contacts in Canada, financial means for the trip; ties to country of residence (including immigration status, employment and family ties) and whether the applicant would be likely to leave Canada at the end of his/her authorized stay.

In accordance with Section A11(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA), any person wishing to become a temporary resident of Canada must satisfy an officer that he or she is not inadmissible to Canada and meets the requirements of the Act. This includes the requirement to establish to the satisfaction of the officer that the applicant will respect their conditions of admission and will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for his or her stay.

This application is closed. Please note that any new information you wish to provide must be submitted with a new application and processing fee. Should you wish to reapply, I would suggest that you do so only if your situation has changed substantively or you have significant new information to submit.

If you have submitted your original passport to the Visa Application Centre (VAC) with your application, please note that it will be returned to you by the VAC within a few days.

Sincerely,

Officer

Please mention ur time frames. When u applied where and how long you got reply

Have u travelled to USA
Hi Scylla,

I am just going on vacation, previously i planned to go to US and have even got a visa for US but my wife is not happy going there, she is more interested to see Canada.

I have been living here for the past 10 years and earning good, i have given the salary certificate which indicates my salary and date of joining with the company ( same employer from 10 years ).
Also i am working with government authority here. No i did not provide a letter from the employer stating my intended day of travel. This is a good point, i will add in the re-application.

I have applied for visit visa, i don't remember if we have to mention for 3 week anywhere, although my return ticket is for 15 days. I think their shortest visa is for 6 months.

Strong ties to country: I am from Pakistan staying in UAE for the past 10 years, my parents are staying back home, my wife is with me, earning good salary. what else do i need to provide to proof, Can i request for the interview to make a better compelling case for the visa officer?
