My VISA surname and given name is reversed! Will they refuse me at the customs?

If they have reversed your first name(given name) and last name(surname), that's a mistake on their part and you may want to return the passport along with a cover letter pointing out their error and request correction. You should not have to pay for it but you can confirm that with the CIC call centre. If you have to travel soon, you may want to include a copy of your ticket as proof when you request speedy processing. Goodluck!
It was me that made the mistake, on the application form I reversed my name. However, all my other documents that I submitted are in the correct name order. I wonder if they will refuse my at the custom, because I am literally travelling within 20 days. OMG SO WORRIED...

I don't know if you will be refused at customs. May be call the CIC call center and ask. How long did it take you to get the visa? Was it less than 20 days? Perhaps you could travel and try to make the correction through a Canadian visa office in that country?

I made the same mistake in paper application, trying to contact CIC call centre before they print my Visa. How you solved this problem, could you please share your experience which will be highly appreciated.

Is there an update on this? I am in same situation and cannot even call cic as they are not working in this period. I have filled webform but no update yet.
