My visa rejected in JUlY 2011

Hi All,

My IELTS scores are L - 7, W - 7, R - 5.5, S - 6.5

I have completed my bsc biotechnology with 65%, 12th 73% and 10th 75%(with no backlogs) in India... i have applied for biotechnology techincian health in Mohawk college Canada which is a diploma programme under SPP
...

My visa is rejected stating that my course is irrelevant. Is this is true i submitted my file in last week of June and my visa got rejected on 4th July.. they took only two days to process my documents...

Pls can anyone actually tell what exactly is the reason for my refusal..

So sorry to hear that. did you apply at delhi or chd?

Is your chosen course PG course? If it is UG course then that could be one possible reason as you already have Bsc

well, dont get upset !

1. Yes it looks your study plan isn't compatible with your prior work or study. Visa officer pay heavy attention to the quality and content of prospective study plan. So, your best bet is to apply at some University level so that you have good credentials to convince visa officer. Always remember, the toughest thing is to get visa not admission !

2. No, it has nothing to do with your timing of application. Even the last date was around in August. When they get application usually they "scan" it to ensure the applicant meet the minimum requirement, if yes only then application proceed further.

but i applied under SPP programme.. what does it matter whether i choose diploma or PG course if it is Under SPP...

1. It doesn't matter if you apply under SPP or General category. What matter is the quality of your study plan. These visa guys aren't going to put sticker for incompatible course.

2. You had degree and now you are trying for diploma at some college, thats what the problem is !

3. I repeat, these peoples pay heavy attention to the quality and content of study course.

where did u applied in chd or new delhi

that is a case of irrelevant course and its quite obvious dat why will a persun choose lowe level of study when he/she has achieved a higher one..So u should have considered ur course and it seems that u applied ua ownself without any guidance..
Newaz now u have next session under general category..go for that and this time be careful...

I have submitted my application in July 2011 from London Visa office of Canada and result came on august, my visa was rejected, they show several reasons for rejecting me, financial ability is main. I have shown the proof of financial statement of 17000 Canadian dollar, among them half i have shown from my country bangladesh and half shown from UK. for that reason, they reject my application. other one is for medical examination. i dont know on where i have to go for giving medical exam in London, can any one tell me about this?

I applied for my visa last month and my visa got rejected.

The reason they gave is , according to them i am not able to satisfy them that i will leave Canada by the end of the course because:
you proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of: your qualification,previous studies,employment,level of establishment,other education opportunities available in India or Canada,language abilities,or your future prospects and plans.

As i have completed my graduation(three year) this year and in Canada i took admission at Fanshawe college in Computer System Technician course which is 2 year course. For that i took 10 lakh loan for two years.

Now, as i am refused with my visa, so can you help me in telling me what went wrong and what i need to do so that this time when i reapply I should not be refused.

please help me.. i am preparing my file again fir jan intake 2012..

if u had been refused in spp . then u can't apply again in spp.
now u had to apply under general cateogry. if u wwant apply in that start working on ur file. they need lots of documents. my friend apllied under general cateogry file was of 143 pages
