how about i apply for EE and also go in as a student to do my Master's? And simultaneously keep the PR process running in the back

Express Entry is an economic class programme for those who want to work. If you have a student visa, it would mean you are going to study and will leave after your studies or after some work experience. An application for a student visa is contradictory to an EE application.

I don't think this is a good idea. Even if you have family here that you could visit, generally speaking, immigration will likely not issue you a visitor's visa and if they did, you could be denied entry at the airport. Your attempt to come to Canada would likely be viewed as a way to come and live without PR. Especially since you've been in the US awhile and not living in your home country

So would it be better if I go there on a Student Visa? Do I apply for a Master's degree there

If you want to go on a student visa, you need to apply for a place in a university, get accepted and have to apply for a student visa BEFORE going to Canada. I have been reading posts in the student visa section of this forum and I believe some of the universities had a deadline for application some day last month for this years intake. You can still try to see which university is still open for admissions.

I would really recommend you look into your priorities. It sounds to me like to you are willing to go through any route just to enter Canada. It doesn't take a genius to understand your intentions. If you are going by the student route as a way to get PR, you would be paying a lot of money in fees and health insurance. If your concern is about returning to India for a short time while your PR is under process, it will not set you back as much as the fees and living expenses in Canada would set you back. Might as well enjoy a vacation in India. You may not get a long holiday as a PR due to residency obligations. At the end of the day, a student visa does not guarantee permanent residence in Canada.

My intention is to have a better life/career. I want to settle down in Canada. I wanna know what I need to do right now as Im in the US on a visa which is gonna expire soon. Ive spent way too much money and put in alot of time. I just want to have a good life just like everyone else is having or trying to have.

Im just trying to figure out the best I can do

Yes if you want to settle in Canada then apply for PR as that is the right way to go about it with minimum expenses. By going through the student and visitor routes, you will end up messing things up for yourself. This process is not overnight. It depends where you are at this stage of EE. Have you done your IELTS and ECA yet? What is your CRS? Depending on your CRS and by assessing the current trends, you may be able to estimate when you will get an ITA. Once you get your ITA, you will need time to submit your documents and then 6 months of processing time. You need to have a realistic time frame and have patience as this process can take time.

Too many people rejected from USA coming to Canada, people should understand that Canada is not USA! Jobs are way fewer and pay is much lower but competition is much higher, but at least it is still slightly better than India, China etc for now

I'm yet to take my IELTS. idk if I'd get the PR this year, so my approach was to go in as a student and keep the PR working in parallel and If i dont get the PR in the first attempt then my points increase if I've studied in canada too. So I could apply the next year. idk. I'm just tensed about life and settling down

You need to take academic ielts if you are going for student visa and general for PR. You would need to check your priorities before making a decision.

yeah, I booked both formats of the Ielts. I have my general ielts on 29th March and academic on 24th March

Go back to India. No jobs in Canada now.
