Hi guys, pls I need help urgently I am very confused. My uncle has promised to sponsor my education in Canada, his bank account is a joint account with his wife. Is it okay to use his bank statement? His wife has agreed to give a letter showing her approval. Will this be accepted by the visa officer?? Thanks, I need your advice urgently.

Sounds ok to me. Make sure your uncles wife co-sign it

Thanks for the quick reply, do you think she needs to also sign an affidavit of support? Or just signing the letter showing her approval is OK?

I think the best way is to get an affidavit of support from both ( your uncle and his wife). You will be getting a joint sponsorship and as a prove you will show their joint bank account.

This means I will have an affidavit of support from both of them stating their readiness to help and a sponsorship letter from both of them stating why they want to sponsor me right?? Should these be done separately by each of them? Or they can do it together?

I am not sure if they can give you an Affidavit of Support as a married couple,if they can(subject to notary ) it will be the best way.
