My dear after the eta questionnaire it says I’m eligible, I f I’m not, why the system has accepted my application?

It's hard for us to say since we don't know how you answered the questions in the application. It's quite possible you answered a question incorrectly. If you only hold Egyptian citizenship and don't have a US green card, then you don't qualify for the ETA.

USA visa is not enough (me and my family holding the USA visa)to support me to get the canadian transit visa??

It might or it might not be. However if you applied for an ETA - then you applied for the wrong thing and will be refused. You need to apply for a TRV.

I tried the online application. The first question asks for your country of citizenship, so I put Egypt (as you mentioned you are from there). The next question is if you have a US Green Card (permanent residence). I chose NO, since you said that you have a visitor visa there. The system said I am not eligible for an eTA.
The only way you could have submitted the application is if you lied on the second question.

You need to apply for a TRV.

My dear i used the application of IMM5257E- and i think it is TRV, but i selected at requested visa place "transit"

I answered the questions that available in the page link of onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca/eapp/eapp.do

then i uploaded the required documents.

Then you applied for a TRV - not ETA. Again, processing for TRVs is not minutes or hours. It can take anywhere from a few days to several months. There's nothing you can do but wait and hope you are approved in time. If the TRV is not approved in time, you will have to change your travel plans.

Here is a screenshot for the questionnaire where it determines if you need an eTA or a visitor visa. As you can see, based on your status of being an Egyptian passport holder who is not a permanent resident of the U.S. (green card holder, not a US visitor visa like you have), you need a 'visa' (not an eTA) to visit or transit through Canada.

As mentioned by others, Visit Visas take a few weeks to months to process usually.

Hi all
please advise if it is required to submit my passport for visa stamp (my current residency is USA,Tennessee).

regards

Since you are not visa-exempt, and you applied for a temporary resident VISA, yes, you will be required to submit your passport to get a visa.

thanks for your reply
please advise the how many days required to get my passport stamped for thransit visa?
also advise if i submitted my passport in person to reduce the processing days?
if i travelled to the canadian office in New York and submitted in person can i get them stamped in same day?may i pay extra fees?

1. Posted processing time is 13 days.
2. No, you can't attend the office, all applications go through the VAC and as an Egyptian citizen, you and your spouse will have to attend a VAC to give biometric information: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp#biometric-table The visa office will send you a letter stating that you have to have biometrics taken.
3. So you can probably count on it taking more than 13 days, if you haven't received your bio metric request.
4. You realize of course the Visa office will probably question why you are transiting Canada if you are heading for either the UAE or Egypt transiting through Canada while there are cheaper flights through the US.
