I applied on June 12th. Application was linked to online account on 10th July. Got Medical Examination Request on 12th July. Medical Results updated to passed on July 15, 2018. Since then there is no update and below are the statuses of different steps that are being shown on Online account. I applied Paper Based from VFS Erbil which connected with Amman -Jordan . My Passport is already with them.
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
So my question is, what are the chances for getting study permit ? How much more time it can take? As system was updated recently resulting in slight change in processing time from 6 to 7 weeks. but as you know mine has taken 13 weeks . There is also a friend who applied 10 days after me but got passport request 4 days ago. My courses begin this week.
Does it mean refusal ? I have sent them some email but there is no response.
Does anybody have the same status or had the same status in past who can share their experience?
It will be a great help. My MA courses already Started on 5th /Sep
