My student visa got rejected for jan 2015 intake. please help!

Btech(information tehnology)- 7.35 CGPA with 9 backlogs but not a single in any IT subject.

Ielts overall: 6.5
L:7 S:6.5 W:6.5 R:6

I got offer letter from georgian college for mobile application development and applied under spp. I provided GIC too. Everything is perfect. This was my first attempt for canada and today when I received my passport, I was shocked that my visa was rejected. I know visa can get rejected but I'm sad because the reason they provided was "other". How could they do this? They don't even provided proper reason for refusal. What should I do now? Since they provided refusal reason as "other" I don't even know what should I improve in my application? Please help!

Other reaons.....means ua proposed studies is not in light and ua language ability, employment level....n all stuffs

may be because you couldn't even get the year right in ur post ?? lol its Jan 2015..

Anyways . which course did you apply for ? PG diploma or diploma ? and which field ?

@dufferdexter: lol ! I was out of my mind while typing! I was like so angry at the ambessy.

Now coming back to course, it's PG in mobile application development. It is a field of computer science, same as IT is a field of computer science. So, as far as course is concerned I don't think so it's the reason why they rejected visa.

CAIPS notes are the detailed explanation on why ur visa was rejected in the first place.. it can help u to determine why exactly ur visa was rejected and u can cover those points when u file ur next application for study permit as well as in SOP .
CHC will take about 4 weeks to provide u CAIPS notes.

I am not sure if u will have enough time to apply for Jan intake bcoz applications submitted after December 1st for Jan intake are more likely to be refused..
u can always defer ur admission for May or September intake. That way u will have enough time to carefully review your application based on the information written in CRIPS notes.

I had a talk with agency through which I applied for spp. They are suggesting me to reapply my application under non spp. Now that doesn't make any sense. Should I do it? and please can anyone brief me about applying under non spp?

I am from pakistan . I ve applied for January 2015 intake on oct 2014 and got refusal on november 18 2014 stated the reason of refusal

Personal assets and financial status

I reapplied for may session 2015 on 8th Jaunuary 2015 .Then i highlighted my purpose of visit is solely study and mentioned i have struggled alot for taking an admission . while on second reason i highlighted that my personal assets are all my parents assets that i gave them sponsership affidavit of my parents . and again got refusal on 30th March 2015 , now this time vo stated the reason only purpose of visit .

My Profile is

BBA with 2.79 CGPA completed in december 2013
IELTS 6 overall only listening 5,5
Finance 33,000 Can$ + half tuition fees with all supporting documents
Sponsered by Parents and brother living together in pakistan
No travel outside pakistan
Applied for Postgraduate 1 year Diploma program in Business administration from North Island College
Employment of 14K

Now i have applied for CAIPS notes and waiting for it but still i am unable to understand the meaning of "Purpose of visit" as i have been accepted from College and paid half tuition fees as well but the problem is where?

Can somebody help me that whether i would have to reapply or not ? or change my institute or program any sugesstions you people may have

same here bro even i also got the same reason and also my visa was refused two times but in the end everythng happens good and finally got my study permit approved in third atempt
