My status shows "Application Received" even I get Acknowledge of Letter Receipt

My status shows "Application Received" even I get Acknowledge of Letter Receipt on May 16, 2012 and also they ask me for T1, T4, NOA, proof that I am residing in Canada and Complete passport copy. I send them back on May 18, 2012 and they receive it on May 21, 2012 (Check through Tracker)

When will my status show "In Process" am confuse because immigration table shows when they send Acknowledgement letter that means status In process.

hi, for people residing in canada is always same. cic doesn't focus on the status about them....u know i ll tell u something and dont get surprised..
i applied on dec2011, on January i saw on my status: application received
my status stays same untill may 15th.
on may 16th my status says: decision Made.
now i ve got the visa already. so u dont need to worry about that electronic status...
relax in few months u ll get ur PR. hope i unswered ur question...

Sure actually my situation is bit different. I am residing in Canada and sponsor my wife from Abu Dhabhi. Canadian Embassy send Acknowledgment letter of receipt to my wife in Kuwait and ask me to submit these thing. So I submitted these thing and still my wife status shows In Process. I hope in my case they don't worry about electronic status.
