My spouse's Passport is going to expire............

Hi

I applied for work permit visa and TRV for my family members. I received medical checkup request on the mid of May 2011. I have done my medical checkup with my all family members in the last week of May 2011.


Now I am waiting for passport request from CHC Islamabad for Visa stamp.


My spouse’s passport is going to expire in May 2012, in meanwhile if we go to renew it then there is any affect on my case.

i'm not senior neither expert, but i think it's better to renew the passport before the visa. cause if the work permit is for 2 years, u are in deep trouble, cause your passport expires in one year and i don't think cic will accept that.
so, i think, renewal followed with a explanatory letter will be better for the next procedure.

Your spouse might be able to renew her passport in Canada. Better to check with the passport authority in Pakistan before you leave.

I received a medical request, but only or myself and not of other family members.The high commission also asked for a copy of contract to proceed to the "next step"
