please does my spouse really need to take the Ielts test since i am the primary applicant and i would take the test? Am asking to know if my points being the primary applicant can cover for my spouse?

She is not required to take the test or submit ECA however, both will add points to the application.

If you believe you have sufficient points to surpass the threshold or you are nominated by a province then it's not necessary. If neither of the above, your spouse should take the test to contribute more points as every point counts.

I also have similar doubt. I get 67 points only if my spouse also appears for IELTS. What if I apply under Provincial Nominee Program ? Then also, my spouse would need to appear for IELTS ? How many points PNP adds ?

Also, is it necessary that I have to take my spouse and child along, or I alone can apply for PR ?
