My score after applying is much lower than expected

Looks like my score after I apply is m uch lower than what I need.

I have been living in canada and working for over 2 years. On the calculator tool I get 488 points. when I have applied officially my score is only 385? I checked what happened an it looks like I am not getting any points for my canadian work experience and I have no idea as to why?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Some further info:
I am currently on a work permit
have a BA degree
have done my WES check
Done my language test
from the UK
am currently working for canadian employer in BC

I just dont understand what has caused me to score zero on the cannadian work experience, as I have a lot now.

OK, all I can think at the moment is the LMIA thing. I wasn't sure how to answer that, after doing a bit of research I put no LMIA required, but maybe that was wrong? would that change anything? If they haven't taken your Canadian work experience into account, then you filled out an incorrect answer related to this section.

Hard to answer the LMIA question without having any information at all on what kind of work permit you are on.

You may select the wrong answer in each item of the question "Do you work LEGALLY in Canada". Should answer yes.

Also check if your hours per week is > 30hrs and the work is non-seasonal.

The difference between what you have expected and what you got cannot be explained with Canadian work experience points, seems like. As you would not get that many points with 2 years of experience. LMIA job offer makes a big difference, if you do not know what to put there, chances are you do not have LMIA. It is basically something your company has to run a process for you, showing the government "why you should be hired". There are some exemptions to that, but again, if you are not familiar with what LMIA exactly is, then I doubt your job is in that category. So may need to choose "no" to the "does your job support by an LMIA?" question.

Another thing I can think of is your job's NOC. Is it C or D? If it is, then you cannot get "skilled work experience in Canada" points, unfortunately. That may be the reason why you get zero there.

Im in skill Skill B section. On my permmits I have LMIA number I just realised so I will say yes to that and see if changes anything

I also do have a job that lasts one year contract. But I already started it a couple of months ago. should I register this as a job offer if I have already started it? I am on a open work permit at the moment. My first year or so here I was sponsored.

It looks better now. I'm at 488! I realised in one of my jobs I had accidentally put that I was a full time student at the time. My mistake, I think that may have been what caused the issue. Does that sound correct? Just putting this here now for anyone googling in the future about a similar problem

Great! Correct, work experience in times of full-time study cannot be counted.
