my relationship is genuine but i have doubts on my in canada sponsor application

I submitted my application a few days ago for inland application through CPC Vegreville. I have known my wife(the sponsor) for 5 years(since 2005) and we got married in May 2010. in the application i included a total of 60 photos regarding our relation(including the marriage) & the marriage certificate. on the envelope and on each photo we put the dates of the encounters with people and trips.in the photos (taken in different parts of the world) you can clearly see that were taken in different places in the world and in different years. we are younger, older, slimmer, shorter hair, longer hair etc. We have a child together and she is a canadian citizen.I have included her birth certificate that states that i'm her father( she has my last name)I have even included photos when i was in the hospital and i was holding my kid just born.But I have the impression or the fear that i have not included enough evidence having been confused by the document checklist where all the evidence is asked to common law relationships(which is not my case, i'm married). i could have included hundreds of e mails and airline tkts etc but i didn't, so i feel a bit stupid.i haven't even included letters from people that know our story.....does anyone think that this can jeopardize or delay my application? Should i send more evidence now that my application has been already sent or it would just confuse them?. if anybody can help with some info it will be appreciated

I would wait until e-cas shows your application in process.
It will usually say this after 2-3 months after Vegreville received your application.
Then you attach a cover letter explaining what is included and that you would like it added to your file. Also, on the cover letter, mention as many identification things as you can.

Include things such as: Sponsor and Applicant's full name, Both of your DOB, Both your citizenship, receipt number from your payment, client ID (if you have one), day it was mailed, day it was received in Vegreville. Anything else you find that will help connect your evidence with your application.

I would begin collecting some evidence if that is what you would like to do and as recommended, wait until your application shows as in process otherwise you are at more risk of them losing it and have hardly anyway to connect it to your file.
You may also want to look on here for some extra things you can include to prove your relationship.

I have doubts about mine too.. i've known my husband for over 8 years and we've been married for almost 5.. hmm we have 2 kids and have been living together since 2005 -- I didn't include a bazillion photos.. or letters or anything like that..
I think it comes down to quality not quantity.... at least that is what i tell myself...
i must admit though since being on this forum (which i found out about AFTER i sent in my app) i am quite intimidated by some of the number of pages on the application... up to 700??!!! 15lbs??!!! Mine was 500g!!

But I was accepted as a sponsor (just included 1 extra page with some small photos of us together and a mini summary of our story) -- and our application is already in process... for the PR application we did extra questions in word with embedded photos so maybe like 20 photos in total on about 10 pages with words...

of course we have birth certificates and i included some envelopes as well into the docs..

who knows.. I'm also on the database in the BA office.. as is my husband -- since doing citizenship and passports... and legalizations.. and they know who I am .. at least in the MVD office.. well I guess we will just have to wait and see..

Seriously though.. if they wanted a HUGE cut and past project/portfolio they should say that.. scrapbook like..
but if they just want basics and down to the point information -- then keep the instructions the way they are.

Don't worry - it sounds like you covered everything. Me and my husband have been together for 6 years, married for 2.5 years and he just landed a few weeks ago. We sent about 30 photos in, wedding invitation, proof of living together (and the proof that our relationship pre-dated the marriage, etc). All in all our application wasn't huge, we didn't have LOOOOADS of stuff, but it was everything that was needed to demonstrate that we have a genuine relationship. I think sometimes if you're already living together, you met in person, you are married, (as examples), it is a bit more clear cut. We didn't send any letters from poeple who know us (unless you count from my parents stating that we can stay with them - but as I live outside Canada, I had to proove my intent to return).

I agree, sometimes reading other people's stories make you doubt yourself. but remember, every case is different and there isn't one solution for everyone. some stories are complicated, involving lots of different aspects (like divorce, moving, children, military service, etc.) so those people might have more "explaining" to do, so to speak. I tried my best to tell a complete story of our relationship, and I assume everyone else did the same....so for some, that's 10 pictures for others that's 10 kgs. of info!

I agree. Quality not quantity is important. I highly doubt that they will read through 20lbs of information. Its almost easier to just call the couple in for an interview. Its almost suspicious. We sent in only 40 pics taken together with his family and mine. Pictures of us as teenagers together, with our extended family together (on both sides), with our parents, & our children at various events. Luckily Ive known my husband for over 16 years. . . I sent in cards, letters, plane tickets, etc. I didnt send much and still they sent some of that evidence back to me!

I am sure you have given enough evidence, considering how long the relationship has gone on for and the fact you have a child together etc. Some applicants, I feel go way over what is required, we didn't send a huge amount of evidence, but what we did send, showed that the relationship was long term and solid. If they want more evidence, they will ask for it, so for now, go ahead and collate more, but I would personally wait until they ask (if they ask at all) for more evidence.

I was sponsored Inland under common law.

I sent in no pictures, no letters from friends or family, all I sent in was a joint bank account statement and a life insurance statement in each others name.

I was approved and got PR in less than 8 months.
