It will have to be a diploma of 1 or 2 years I guess. If you are working currently, better to continue working and apply when you have 2 years of work experience. What kind of a diploma can i do? Should it be 1 year or it can be less?

I have worked in a finance position for 1 year and 5 months. Now i am looking for a job in Human resource. Will it effect the score if i change my job?but the relative won't do a thing if it's not a sibling when applying as a FSW.
Get more work experience or a better diploma. Try the student route etc... the 67 score will work for eligibility but you gotta see what each stream requires
I have second cousins in canada. I dont think so it counts. Right?Relative can get them 5 FSW points which will make the total as 71 points and make them eligible for FSW. The CRS will stay same unless they have a sibling in which case, additional 15 points will be gained in CRS.
No, that won't count.I have second cousins in canada. I dont think so it counts. Right?
Thanks.. i guess i need to increase my experience and educationNo, that won't count.
This relative must be a:
- parent
- grandparent
- child
- grandchild
- child of a parent (sibling)
- child of a grandparent (aunt or uncle)
- grandchild of a parent (niece or nephew)

For eligibility points, your work ex has to be in the same NOC. So if you work in Human Resources, it will not benefit you as you will get eligibility points based on one NOC.
It has to be a recognized diploma which can be evaluated by any authorized ECA agency.Thanks.
Then my only option is to apply for a Diploma or some certificate.. what kind of a certificate counts. If i do a very short certificate course. Will it help?
i don't think that's true. you need at least one year in one NOC. but you can have two work experiences with different NOCs as far as i knowhttp://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp

he's at 416, even if he's eligible he won't get an ITA anytime soonRelative can get them 5 FSW points which will make the total as 71 points and make them eligible for FSW. The CRS will stay same unless they have a sibling in which case, additional 15 points will be gained in CRS.
For FSW eligibility you get points for primary NOC only. For CRS points, you can use multiple NOCs.i don't think that's true. you need at least one year in one NOC. but you can have two work experiences with different NOCs as far as i know
Its not about the CRS score. The OP is concerned about their eligibility. If they qualify, they may apply for PNP too. So EE eligibility has more relevance here.he's at 416, even if he's eligible he won't get an ITA anytime soon
yes but the way i saw it he understood it as to NOT take a job in the different field he's looking forFor FSW eligibility you get points for primary NOC only. For CRS points, you can use multiple NOCs.
for eligibility it caps at one for this NOC. if you want to change jobs it won't affect you later on.I have worked in a finance position for 1 year and 5 months. Now i am looking for a job in Human resource. Will it effect the score if i change my job?
Yeah i guess. I just need to work in the same field for a little bit more..yes but the way i saw it he understood it as to NOT take a job in the different field he's looking for

but like Maverick said earlier if you can hold it till you hit the two year mark you'll get that extra point.
