Hi

I rcvd a letter from Canada Immigration office on 8th February 2013 that i need to submit my Immigration forms along with Medicals, PCC and passports within 45 days to the immigration office New Delhi.

I got my medicals done and they have been submitted. I applied for PCC at Mumbai on 15th Feb and my husband applied on 18th feb. We went to the Mumbai Headquarters and got the documents (adress proofs, society letters, bank statements, 10th certificates, passport copies, etc) submitted to the local police station by the 26th of Feb. When we are following up with the police station we can clearly see its going to take atleast 15 days more. In such a case, we will not be able to meet the deadline of 23rdMarch (latest date by which have to submit the passports and forms to immigration office). We will require the passports to get the PCC in hand aswell so there is no way that we can send the docs in time.

there is one more catch to this whole situation. i am pregnant and have to travel back to my hometown for my delivry latest by the 24th.. doc wont give me travel clearance post that!

Now we are in a fix as to what to do. If we dont send the documents in time, then we are assuming that we will lose out on all the efforts that we have taken for this immigration process.

Has any one of you also faced such a situation before? can you suggest what can be done. Should we write to the immigration office to give us some more time? We are desperate for some suggestions.

Please help!!

i have applied from the passport office itself. The reason i wont get PCC in one day is that my permanent adress is of Jaipur on the passport whereas i have been living in Mumbai for the past 3 years.

Pls try speaking to the commissioner/asst of police for ur area, or else scan and send a letter explaining ur situation along with the NDVO letter copy, simultaneously, even inform NDVO and ask for an extention.
