Hi Everyone,

My PR application status says decision made, My passport has just expired and I am applying for a new one as we speak. Do i need to update cic with the new passport information and does this effect my application?

Also, once i get my confirmation of PR do i need to flag pole, as I am already residing in Canada at the moment.

Lst question when your your CoPR usually expire, do i have until my current work permit is out.

Sorry for all the questions, just getting a little stressed.

Thanks

Hi buddy! Yes i believe so, you gotta let CIC know about your new passport info as soon as you get hold of it. You mentioned your ecas says DM, got PPR request lately? About the flagpolling thing, as far as i know, yes. Anyone who is in Canada who from holders of TRV(or any other category), must go out of Canadian borders in order for their PR to get activated. Hope this helped :)
