my passport got a little bit torn in the edge...=(

hi everyone...

need help..i submitted my passport to my representative..unfortunately the edge of my passport got a little bit torn in the edge because it sticked on the tape of my pre-paid envelope..just don't know if it's still ok..is there anyone experience same thing?..just worrying..=( need peace of mind..plz...plz..

if you haven't started the process best better apply for a new one. to be on safe side.
