My passport expires in 2 years. Am I eligible to apply for Canadian PR (Express Entry) without renewing it?

Hello Everyone,

I came to Canada as a student and my passport is expiring in 2 years. Without renewing the passport, am I eligible to apply for the Federal Skilled Worker (Express Entry) program. Since the PR card is valid for 5 years; Do I need to renew the PR again after 2 years due to my passport expiration?

Yes - you can apply. No - you don't need to renew your passport to apply. The duration of the PR card has nothing to do with the validity of your passport.
