Hello FRIENDS

My oath date is next week on August 25 based on online status of the application. It shows my oath date with time and they mentioned the letter has been sent. But I never got the letter, my address on the online shows correct address. Some time back I changed the address I spoke to CIC call center about the address change they confirm the address is changed and online address shows correct.

So based on the online date and my status print out with all the proofs and PR card can I go attend the OATH ceremony.

ANY SUGGESTIONS about how to go about in this situation as my oath date is too close. I don't want to miss this opportunity I have been waiting for this since LONG TIME now the final moments have come but I don't have the OATH letter in my hand.

MY DEAR FRIENDS PLEASE RESPOND ON THIS POST

You need to call Call center again on Monday and let them know that you did not receive the letter .
You cannot just show up without having the oath invitation letter in your hand . Call Monday and they will advise you what to do .

Thx

With short time remaining. What can call center do as they don't issue anything. Since 25th is Tuesday and they have less than 24 hours.
Some where in the posts I read that we can go to oath ceremony with the online status printout and all other documents and PR cards as proof is this acceptable by MISSISSAUGA CIC center.

MY CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION is with MISSISSAUGA OFFICE and a I am expecting OAT will be at the same place.

Friends - DID any body went to OATH ceremony without letter and print out of ONLINE STATUS was it accepted at MISSISSAUGA CENTER.

WHAT SHOULD I DO APART FROM CALLING call center.

On Monday you should go to Mississauga office to confirm this.

I had the same situation as you about my test wich I took on 27th March 2015 my ecas updated but never recieved letter in the mail and called the call center they told me I don't need the letter to write the test they just told me the location, address, and what I need to bring that was it. There I explained and give them my client unit number they check it out and told me I am in the right place and I Wrote my test.
Call the call center on Monday and you will be fine.
Good Luck!

Show up at oath ceremony one hour ahead of the schedule ceremony (the time on cic website is the time they ceremony starts). Make sure you are there atleast and hour and half before so you have enough time to speak with COc officers. You need to take your PR card(valid or expired), landing paper, all passports, two piece of photo ids e.g. Passport, driver licence.

Nothing to lose here. Worst case. They afe going to ask you to leave and they will sent you another letter. At that point yoi can contact CiC with explanation letter for a reschedule.

You do not need a letter to take the Oath. Letter is for notification purpose. Yes it is said on the letter itself that the letter is needed, but just so the security can let you in, your name is on the ceremony schedule and of course they can process you with or without the letter. This is confirmed by Call Centre and local officers I spoke with. If someone is telling you you need the letter to take the Oath that is just misinformation.
