My mother's DOB is not mentioned on ID Card.

Dear Members,
My mother's DOB is not mentioned on her ID card. Just the year of birth is mentioned. So, when filling up the Family Information Form or Supplementary Information Form, whether I should just type "XX" in the Month and Day category and attach my Mother's NIC's photocopy with my application?
I have the Family Registration Certificate from NADRA as well. Only her Year of Birth is mentioned on that certificate as well. NADRA too doesnt have a record of the exact DOB.

In old times, it was not uncommon to have such a vage record.

Do I need to provide an explanation?

The last thing I want is to wait for dayssssss for any response and get a notification to submit any supporting document as to why I havent mentioned it. :-X

Though I am attaching the FRC from NADRA. Even that has only Year mentioned on it.

The Following instruction is given on Form 5269E

"Indicate your date of birth. If your complete date of birth is unknown, please use ' * ' (star sign/asterisk) to fill in the spaces for the year, month or day, where applicable."

Hey!!...Ofcourse!.. I forgot about that ...

And since that is for filling IMM1294, I guess this would work for IMM5645 (Family Information Form) as well .. Thanks!
