Hello all,

I have been approved for a Student Visa on March 30th and have an eTA. I wasn't able to travel to Canada soon because of travel ban. Yesterday I have received an email from IRCC stating that my medical is expiring soon on July 19th so that i have to renew my immigration medicals examination results if I want to travel to Canada. My flight is on July 20th and in India Panel doctors are not available at this moment because of rising cases of Covid 19. I haven't received any IME number from hight commission yet. Could anyone explain me in detail what to do now? Should I wait for my IME number or raise a webworm? Can I travel on July 20th as I have planned before? Please suggest me the best solution. Thank you

I am not sure whether it is a legit information or not but few told on YouTube that IME sheet will come once medical in actual going to be expire in GC Key. My medical will also expire on 16th June so let's see if I will get the IME sheet or not after my medical expiration.

Thank you for the information. Please tell me here if you get your IME number. Did you get your Visa? If yes when are you planning to travel?

My medicals expire on 8th July, and if I travel before 7th July, do you guys think I can have any problem during the immigration process?

Hi everyone, I had a question similar to this one. I applied for my student visa last year on June 5 and finally, after nine long months, received it and am planning to fly to Canada in August when the fall session starts at my university. However, my medical report validity is soon to expire in June, and it would be risky to try to fly with an expired medical report. I am willing to take another upfront medical exam, that's no problem for me, my question is how do I update the date of the new validity expiry date on my Port of Entry Introduction letter? I suppose I need to give the new information to IRCC but how? Is there any way to upload my new medical report to my IRCC account? How long will it take for them to update it and send me a renewed POE letter? I wish to fly to Canada in August and not June so please if anyone could answer my questions, I would highly appreciate it.

P.S. Can anyone tell me how to make my own post around here instead of only putting in replies? I'm lost, sorry.
