Hello everyone i go married in 2007 and we have been living together since then in canada he got is PR last year in febuary 2011 but now things did not work out he will be going to visit is mum i will like to cancel is PR so that he can not come back to canada when he lift please help

Since he already has his PR, you cannot cancel it. You are still responsible for him for three years from the date he landed. Sorry :(

Yeah, like parker said, Its pretty much impossible.

I feel for you, I think a man taking advantage of a woman for immigration is not something a good person would do. I applied in 2006 and still waiting, but I have stories of hundreds of people that I know or met or heard of who got in Canada so easily by abusing the system and still are taking advantage from the inside.
It is always us honest people who get hurt the most, liars get in and out and do whatever they want.
Make sure you have proofs that you went into this marriage with good intentions, and report his ass to the immigration people, I hope they deny him his pr.

can't do it? that is just wrong it opens up th edoors to anyone to take advantage of Canadian women.
the whole system is wrong, talented peole like me get to wait 6 or 10 years and scammers take advantage of women and get it easily.

That's why people need to be SURE that they want this long term. I'll use my marriage as an example. We've known each other since 2006, were best friends for 4 years and then started dating. Got engaged after we've been dating for 4 months. We know each other like we know how to do the mashed potato dance LOL. But seriously, that's why I feel strongly about how when applying for immigration, the sponsor and the sponsored needs to be sure of their relationship and their intention. I don't disagree that it's very sad about people who divorce, it's heartbreaking. I'm not sure if the man scammed her or they just found out they couldn't live together anymore or get along. It's not always scammers, it can sometimes just be the breakdown of a relationship. I hope you will get PR soon!!!

She did not say anything about being taken advantage off by her husband, just that things did not work out. Let's not jump to conclusions here guys...

Sounds like the reverse story of Tim271

I don't think there is anything you can do now. He already received his PR. Good luck!

I know this is none of my business, but why are you so intent on him not coming back to Canada? If he abused you, I would go to the police right now. While they cannot keep him out of the country, they CAN help you get a restraining order if one is needed.

There is nothing you can do. He can come back to Canada if he wants to.
