Hello Friends
Hope all of you are doing good. I wanna share our landing experience with all of you. Today its exactly two months to be here in Canada. We landed on 30th July, 2013 at Pearson Airport. Stayed with our family friends for few days. We got nice basement on rent on the same day of our landing ($650) but shifted there after 3 days. The first few days were terrible for me by missing my parents, home, siblings, country like any thing.
After few days got bank account, applied for driving licence. My hubby got job on 12th day of our landing, by profession he is mechanical engineer, although didn't get job in his profession but he likes his job as he is getting experience and learning many new things.
I got job after a month in an Employment Agency as an recruiter and office admin, although its not the job i can rely on but initially its not less then blessing for me. As we hire people I saw job market is really not good and my heart sinks when i saw people coming for survival jobs and have been in Canada like 10, 15 year but then i realized they are people who are happy in this condition. They didn't even try to do anything to enhance their language skills and education.
Me and my husband will start continue study very soon and will get licences in our profession. Friends I will say to all of you in starting it could be bit hard emotionally, financially but trust me soon things will start to change and you will start loving Canada.
Be prepare for anything i read some recent landing experiences and they seem awesome but it does not happens with every one but one thing is for sure sooner or later it will happen. Don't loose your hopes, work hard, upgrade your education, get your profession licences and you will do great.
Initially try to save money so you could start your school
I wish all of you very best of luck. By the grace of God out start has been very smooth and i wish and pray it will be like this in future too. I am happy here although abhi bohat Safar baqi hai
God Bless all of you
P.S: I am in Brampton, Ontario
