Is there anyone who traveled by Turkish airlines to Toronto?

I would like to know how much do I have to pay to Carry an extra luggage (23 kg) from Dhaka to Toronto by Turkish airline? Should I pay that money in advance or during immigration checking?

My wife works in a company having its head office in Canada , her employer is kind enough to transfer her in Canada office . My question is , do I still need to show POF at the time of landing if my wife has job offer letter.

P.S

I am the Primary applicant and my wife on spouse visa.

When you go to the airport, you can ask the airline baggage check-in counter!

I will be making short landing for a month on September 27, 2016. Can anyone please share with me sample goods carried and goods to follow forms? Also, is there any tax exemption on the cash that you carry at the time of initial landing? What other tax benefit should I take advantage of?

Hi, my family landed at Vancouver Airport on 27 Aug 2016. I have a small concern when the Immigration Officer did not ask us to provide the photo for PR Card application. Of course there are photo attached in the COPR. Could someone advise me if I have to provide them the new photo for PR Card Application process? As I have no permanent address yet so they provide me the Address Notificaition form and ask me to fax it to given number in the form later. After 1 week, I check my PR application status online but it said: They were unable to identify me using the information I provided. What should I do? I have to come back to my country in next 5 days to settle all the remaining business thus I need your advise ASAP to see what should I do in next few days left. Thank you.

The PR Card for new immigrants is automatically issued, using the COPR with photo. That's why CBSA only gave you a stamped copy.
Keep it very safe as it is your proof of landing.

Fax your new Canadian address to them ASAP so they can send the card. Without the address, they can't mail the card.
When your PR Card comes to Canadian address, maybe someone can courier it to you in your home country. Or send it via a friend or reliable person.

Otherwise, you'd need to apply for a PR Travel Document at the visa office in your home country in order to return to Canada (without the PR Card).

You need a U.S visa for any flight transiting in the U.S.

Its now about a month that I sent my spouse's photo as requested by case processing center nova scotia. Earlier I received me and my children's cards delivered to the speicified canadian address. Waiting for my spouse's card now. Does anyone have any relevant experience? Should I just wait or do i have any way to track?

Avoid travel through USA as you require visa for transit thru USA.
Even with Visa it is a hassle due to security checks and a big inconvenience.
check with travel agent they can route you through UK or Europe direct to Calgary (without USA).
It will be easier.

(Etihad/Emirates does not fly to Calgary, only Toronto for Canada.)

no way to track it as its sent by ordinary mail. However you can always check/call the CIC Call Centre at 1-888-242-2100 and speak to an agent about the card status. If photo is ok then card will be generated and sent to the address.
Hopefully you get it soon.
