Hi,
This a reply to a PM may be helpful to check south Asian community area.

I am always suggesting that initially you can take short term accommodation for few days and then personally visit the areas & check permanent accommodation. You may need to signs the lease contract for permanent accommodation.

Near Toronto Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, sri lankan and other south Asian communities are reside in these areas.
East York, Thorncliffe Park, Gerrard Street (The area is also commonly referred to as "Little India", Little Pakistan, or little South Asia), Danforth Ave, Scarborough, Raxdale, Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Vaughan and Richmond Hills area. South Asian community is also living in Oakville, Ajax, Pickering, and Hamilton areas.

For reasonable rent short term accommodation I have listed on this link.

Here is a succinct, side-by-side review of some of Canada's largest cities.

The metropolitan populations of Canada's ten largest cities not included in the comparison are:

Quebec City, Quebec: 0.7 million
Hamilton, Ontario: 0.7 million
London, Ontario: 0.5 million
Kitchener, Ontario: 0.5 million
St. Catharines-Niagara, Ontario: 0.4 million
Oshawa, Ontario: 0.35 million
Victoria, British Columbia: 0.3 million
Windsor, Ontario: 0.3 million
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan: 0.25 million
Regina, Saskatchewan: 0.2 million

These were the numbers recorded in the 2011 census.

Average full-time income by census metropolitan area will be updated in August 2013 when the 2011 NHS (National Household Survey) information is released.

Finally by God grace we landed in Toronto on 15.11.2012.

It 's just took 45 min-60 min to come out from airport after completing all the formalities.

At first counter officer checked filled in form (provided in flight to fill) & passport and guided to another counter. At the another counter officer checked our passport & copr and she further guided to another officer. There was only one officer in one cabin. In 10 min our turn came. Officer welcomed us & asked who is the main applicant , what are you doing?, asked the canadian address than asked for amount i am carrying with me and how much amount in indian bank. And asked us to sign. Handed over our copy & informed that we will receive our PR card at addresss provided in 4-6 weeks. And asked if i have any question.

Next stop, they gave us some usefull forms & booklet for new commers. Now step to collect our laguage. After collecting we guided to custome , as explained by Mr. Qorax, i made all the forms ready & filled in. Oficer just check the form & make total and entered in system. Stamped all pages. Handed over one complete set to me along with their system print out.

Thats all everthing is over and we came out from airport.

Thanks to qorax, mitali and all seniors for their help & support.

Thanks.

Landing procedure is very easy just preaper yourself as explained by qorax in his thread.

Congrats & Welcome to Canada.

Regards
Mayank
