Please check the university websites, admission rudiments are there, regarding how easy to enter depend on your GDP / mark percentage, and proposal or research work, your Graduation University, & country of education. Some universities systems are very flexible to accept the student. You may call the admission office or send them e-mail directly to know their admission requirements.

Thank you very much for your answer; it is of great assistance. Also I have a couple of other questions:

1. How long minimum can I stay in Canada if I arrive and take the PR in case I want to come back?

2. After returning to my home country, how much time do I have to come back to Canada again not to lose the status? Can I, for example, return to my home country in ten days after I arrive and go back to Canada in one year or some? Will there be any problems?

Can we take der food items like sweets,namkeen and dry nasta? as u mentioned in one of yr post that Pickles etc. not allow by Custom officer.

Please list out allowable food items.


I am flying der on 17/02/2012. my flight from Ahmedabad to delhi - toronto-winnipeg by Air india. Can u tell me the check in baggage and cabin baggage will go thr. security check on both Airport (Ahmedabad & Delhi) or only on Ahmedabad Airport?

1. No problem with handwritten use capital letters and black ink
2.State the general items and value (exp: Personal belonging, kids wears etc......value CAD $ 2000)
3. Better to include every thing in Jewellery list and present market value, Yes need photograph, all jewellery can be in one-two picture together

Hi, Kamo,

1.No minimum requirement, as long you have completed your landing procedure you can go back, you need only 1 business / working day to complete SIN application at Service Canada.
2.You need to be back before expiration of your PR Card (Expiry date will be on your PR card)
3.Yes you can do that ( within few days you can go back and back to Canada within 2 years)
4.No problem

Hi, dipashah,

1.Colour picture with clear and sharp view would be required
2.I will try to check mine list and will send you the scan copy if avalable with me (otherwise it is very simple to fill, only expensive electronic items need to write in each line with serial number and value, other like household, cloths, kids ware etc.. in 1 line with value in CAD)
3.All food items are allowed as long as it is well packed and reasonable quantity (personal use only not for commercial use) you can bring sweet, namkeen and dry fruits (but these are available in Canada)
4.Only at Ahmedabad cabin baggage, but hand carry will be at both airports if you will change the aeroplane at Ahmedabad
