Hi Everyone,

I have a problem regarding my NOC title. I am officially employed as Technical Associate but my job duties match those of 6221 - Technical sales specialists - wholesale trade. Unfortunately I cannot find my job title as its originally written in the NOC jobs but I have a feeling that it's a job type of skill level C.
My duties incorporate:
Constant sales support with ongoing and potential customers;
I also provide our clients with offers regarding their inquiries and needs, and go on regular meetings with them;
Negotiate constantly with suppliers and arrange the purchase of all goods for our customers;

Please give me your opinion whether I should ask my employer to change my job title or not.

Thanks in advance!

Draft your reference letter with following in first paragraph

This is to certify that ABC (Employee ID X) has worked with Y Company Limited from October 3, YYYY until present. He is currently working as a Technical Associate and his roles and responsibilities are co-related to Technical sales specialists.

I got it. The other thing that I was wondering is do I get any points in my application for foreign work experience if mine is recognized as skilled level 0, A or B ?

If you have work experience in Canada then you will get 40 points for 1 year.

Acc. to the CRS tool they want to know if we have work experience in the last 10 years.
When I click none for inside Canada and 1 for total years experience in general I receive points again.
Does this mean that I get those points for any work experience outside of Canada?

Outside of Canada, less points

Thanks for the reply. Better to have less points than none at all.
