My question here is, do i meet the minimum threadhold requirement for Canadian FSW or i need to re-enroll for my listening test? Also do i need to enroll my wife on IELTS as well? Many thanks for your swift response please

score less than 6 in any module is not applicable at all.

You need to retake IELTS as minumum Band 6 is required in each module. You will have to retake all modules.

Hey I don't think you have met minimum threshold requirement for CFSW immigration you have to score band 6 in all four modules.
Your wife IELTS will give you additional 5 points if she score more then band 5, which is not necessary if you arr surr on 67 points.

Hello All,
As discussed the last time, i had retaken the IELTS exam for October 2nd to meet up with the minimum threadhold. Now i had Listening:6.5, Reading:6, Writing:6 and Speaking:6.5. Do i meet the requirement now?
I have also began process of sendin my educational details to WES. Please what are the next steps to commence my CFSW application? I need urgent infos and assistance in getting to close out my 2014 FSW plan. I have almost 10 year experience in Oil and Gas field with other supporting docs as well. Thanks for any information to help out with this.

-------------------------------------
Your total Score in terms of CLB is:
Speaking : 5 (6.5)
Listening : 4 (6.5)
Reading : 4 (6)
Writing : 4 (6)

Total : 17
--------------------------------------
10 years experience : 15 Points
--------------------------------------
Education (as your ECA expected) : 21 for Bachelors / 22 for Masters (but nothing is sure before ECA comes out)
--------------------------------------
Age (if you are less than 35) : 12
--------------------------------------
Adaptability (Your spouse language proficiency/Relative in Canada/Your study in canada/Your spouse study in canada) : 5 to 10 points
--------------------------------------

So based on above>
(Your score without Adaptability) is 65
(Your score with Adaptability) will be 70 to 75.

So you need to asses yourself and remember, apply only if you have self calculated 69 to 70 points (to be on safest side as sometimes CIC calculates marks differently and there is a post on this forum where this has happened)

You are determined and I wish you all the best for your happy days in Canada.

Good luck my friend.

Register to WES on http://www.wes.org/ca/application/apply_now.asp (Choose FSWP Credential Assessment as it selected International Courier and not the Standard Mail)

International Courier can be tracked and reach within 3 days...Standard Mail: slow like snail.

Once you are done with registration, you will get a WES Reference Number.

Send your Documents to WES as soon as possible and don't forget to write your WES Reference Number on the envelope, as this is how they track your documents fastly.

In meantime, go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp and download all the forms and save on your computer.

They are the latest forms, you need to fill them all as per required by you [if you need help while filling the form, we are all here for you]

This application package includes:

Document Checklist [IMM 5612] (PDF, 244 KB) August 2014
Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] (PDF, 487 KB) June 2014
Additional Dependants/Declaration [IMM 0008DEP] (PDF, 471 KB) August 2014
Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669] (PDF, 246 KB) December 2012
Schedule 3: Economic Classes [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3] (PDF, 656 KB) August 2014
Additional Family Information [IMM 5406] (PDF, 570 KB) September 2013
Supplementary Information – Your travels [IMM 5562] (PDF, 1,8 MB) May 2004
Separation Declaration for Minors Travelling to Canada [IMM 5604] (PDF, 25 KB) July 2008
Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union [IMM 5409] (PDF, 47 KB) April 2009
Fee Payment Form – Application for Permanent Residence
[IMM 5620] (PDF, 581 KB) August 2014
Use of a Representative [IMM 5476] (PDF, 615 KB) March 2014
Instruction Guide [IMM EG7000]

Take a printout of Instruction Guide [IMM EG7000] and read it and read it like your are drinking water [it's so important and will instruct how you fill the forms, but remember don't use the form gathered in this pdf as they are old].

Be ready with all the filled forms and check the document list [Document Checklist [IMM 5612] , if you are missing with any document, go again and again to cover and gather everything]

Remember : Original ECA Report / IELTS Report / PCC needs to be sent with the application [ except them you can attached notarized photo copies].

Do this all before you receive your WES ECA, so as soon as you get ECA, you are ready your application to send as 'Time is Short' my friend.

Good luck and all the best.

And remember, we are here to help you out in everything you require.

Having such an accurate, timely, and organized information available on forum who will go to consultant.
Great job done by mwrooney! +1

Yeah...the only problem is that some people are far too lazy to do the basic homework. They'd prefer all the information to be properly found, properly served and even chewed so that they will only need to swallow and digest. >:(

Mwrooney +1 anyway.

I agree with you completely! I was always wondering how are those people going to survive in completely new country if they can't make themselves to read basic requirements for immigration. Beside that, many are too lazy to search this forum so are opening new threads for every little thing. That is the reason why this forum is so messy and many really useful informations are stuck below piles of repeating questions.

On forums, like this one, people come with different experiences, qualifications, and ages. Having such a diversity we could not expect PERFECTION.

Hi,

You need to do self assess if you can claim 67 points for FSW program.

Hi,

I had given my IELTS through IDP. My score was L=6.5, R=7, W=6.5, S=6. I want to apply for re-evaluation. Does it happen that the scores are sometimes decreased instead of increasing after re-evaluation? Or they can not decrease it. What do you suggest, I should go for re-evaluation or not?

Thanks
