Hello eveyone,

Let me explain our situation first.

My husband and I came to Canada in 2014, and my husband is working(in Manitoba) since then.
My husband applied MPNP and got invited several months ago, and now he is a provincial nominee, and I am his dependant.
We sent our documents to federal government about 3 weeks ago, and we haven't got our file number, yet.
We heard that it will take about 20 months to get actual PR card, and we think it takes too long.

Originally, when we got here, my husband was supposed to apply EE CEC with LMIA after 1 year experience in Canada,
so he kept working in unfavored place with mimimun pay for CEC 1 year experience,
also we spent lots of money to the immigration agency for EE application.
However, the law about additional points from LIMA has changed last year, so his LMIA became useless before it was expired(now it is expired),
We were frustrated. We thought about other opportunity and then applied MPNP instead.

We are very exhausted, now, because our plan for CEC didn't work, and MPNP takes longer time.
For this reason, we've been recently thinking about applying for EE CEC again with his name, but without LMIA, his CRS point is too low.
Also, Manitoba government doesn't give the 600 points to the applicant through the EE system unless they invited the applicant directly from EE pool,
which is not our case(we applied MPNP first and got nominated),
Furthemore, MPNP officer warned us that(if we understood it well), if my husband apply EE, his provincial nomination could be withdrawed.

*** Here is my question.

We recently realized that I qualify the requirement for EE as well, as a federal skilled worker.
I have 6 years of work experience in management area in foreign country in last 10 years, plus, 9 months of ongoing work experience in Manitoba now.
We were wondering if we could, I mean if I could(as a principal applicant, and my husband as a dependant) apply EE even in this situation,
that my husband is provincial nominee with my name as a dependant and we sent the files to the federal government.
Will I not be elligible to apply EE? Will it be a duplicate application? Will it affect badly to our mpnp nomination?
or Can I apply without concern because it's two seperate thing(federal vs provincial, my husband as a principal applicant vs me as a principal applicant).
I don't know the answer, the people who works in reception area in MPNP doens't know the answer neither, so I am sking here.

I have one more question, just for in case that I am elligible to apply EE.
Will I be elligible to be invited from Manitoba government directly through the EE system and get 600 points,
even if my husband is already provincial nominee and I am his dependant?

Any reply would be very appreciated.
Thanks a lot!!
Enjoy your weekend.

Enjoy your weekend.
First u ask about your eligibility for SINP EE directly to - Immigration@gov.sk.ca
They are very friendly and send u the reply within 2-3 working days.
These are some important links ;
Link for SINP EE : https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residents/moving-to-saskatchewan/immigrating-to-saskatchewan/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program/applicants-international-skilled-workers/international-skilled-worker-saskatchewan-express-entry
Documents : https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residents/moving-to-saskatchewan/immigrating-to-saskatchewan/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program/applicants-international-skilled-workers/international-skilled-worker-saskatchewan-express-entry/required-documents-for-saskatchewan-express-entry
There are only 21 NOCs available to apply for SINP EE and OID and they are called Occupation in high demand list. U have to choose one among them.
NOC 1225 is matching with u, in my opinion. Check it, and the list as well.
Bye

Hello ashuindian,

Thanks for your reply! I will check the link that you attached.

However, we are concerned that if I or my husband apply SINP EE, then my husband could be withdrawed from MB nomination.
(We have never thought about settling in SK, we wish to keep living in MB).
Since my EE application(or SINP EE application) is not guarnted for invitation, we would not want to take the risk to lose MB nomination status.
Should I still contact to SK govenment in this situation? (I will check their website anyway).

Thank you a lot for your help.

Enjoy rest of your weekend!

Actually I am not confident about your applying or not, so u ask them directly without disclosing your identity And u can use any email address to ask.
After getting PR through SINP Nomination, u can move anywhere in Canada , no boundation.

Thank you!
have u checked AIPP?
The Atlantic provinces of Canada have come together with the federal government to launch an exciting new employer-driven immigration program, which is likely to attract the attention of potential immigrants and employers alike.
The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) has unique eligibility requirements that may be particularly attractive to certain workers and graduates. For example, eligible international students and graduates may note that no work experience is required before an application may be submitted. In addition, workers in intermediate level (National Occupational Classification C) occupations, as well as workers with limited language ability, may be able to immigrate through this program.

It should be noted that the program is also open to workers in management, professional, technical, and skilled trades occupations (NOC 0, A or B).
The AIPP is a new venture that involves the provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador. The former three provinces are often known collectively as ‘the Maritimes’.
The program includes two sub-programs for skilled workers:

Atlantic High-Skilled Program (AHSP)
Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program (AISP)
and one sub-program for international graduates:

Atlantic International Graduate Program (AIGP)
Requirements
The work experience, education, and job offer required will depend on whether the applicant is a worker or an international graduate.
Job Offer from a designated employer must for all programs. Your job offer does not need to be in the same occupation as your past work experience. However, you need to meet employment requirements for the job you are offered. The requirements are listed in the NOC.

The next steps

IRCC has stated that it will begin to receive applications under the AIPP as early as March of this year. In the meantime, interested individuals are encouraged to review the eligibility requirements and learn more about the region.

CICNews.com will bring more news updates about the AIPP as and when they occur.
