I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel, and my girlfriend and I are so sad because everything is so difficult.
I'm currently working with a Working Holiday Visa that expires on September 2016. I'm from Spain so I can not extend it.
I want to stay with my girlfriend until she gets Canadian residency.
But I can't find a way to stay in Canada and work.
What's the easiest way?
I believe I have these options that complicate everything a lot:
MARRY AND:
1-Apply Outland and wait 17 months until PR Card for work. (17 months without working in Canada, how is that possible? I could pay maybe for basic living with my savings, but that is life?) And if I'm in Spain I don't see my girlfriend, and that's not an option for a real couple.
2-Apply Inland and wait 18 months until Work Permit (again the same) and then 10 months more until PR Card.
I can apply for Young Professionals but that will give me only 12 months more. And for that, I have to return to Spain in September for 3 months, then find an employer and apply for Young Professionals. And that's not sure that I will find employer and they will accept me for YP
I can apply for closed work permit via LMIA. Even more difficult
I don't have any other option? Really?
Thank you. We are barely sleeping because this is a very sad situation for two people that love each other.
EDIT:
We have been together almost everyday since we met in January (we don't live together but we have seen each other almost everyday). And we can prove that. Isn't that enough, really?
