I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel, and my girlfriend and I are so sad because everything is so difficult.

I'm currently working with a Working Holiday Visa that expires on September 2016. I'm from Spain so I can not extend it.

I want to stay with my girlfriend until she gets Canadian residency.
But I can't find a way to stay in Canada and work.

What's the easiest way?

I believe I have these options that complicate everything a lot:

MARRY AND:

1-Apply Outland and wait 17 months until PR Card for work. (17 months without working in Canada, how is that possible? I could pay maybe for basic living with my savings, but that is life?) And if I'm in Spain I don't see my girlfriend, and that's not an option for a real couple.

2-Apply Inland and wait 18 months until Work Permit (again the same) and then 10 months more until PR Card.

I can apply for Young Professionals but that will give me only 12 months more. And for that, I have to return to Spain in September for 3 months, then find an employer and apply for Young Professionals. And that's not sure that I will find employer and they will accept me for YP

I can apply for closed work permit via LMIA. Even more difficult

I don't have any other option? Really?

Thank you. We are barely sleeping because this is a very sad situation for two people that love each other.

EDIT:

We have been together almost everyday since we met in January (we don't live together but we have seen each other almost everyday). And we can prove that. Isn't that enough, really?

If you are sponsored outland, it won't necessarily take 17 months. You should check the Spain thread in the Family Sponsorship section of the forum to see how long applications are taking these days. By the way, there are many many people on this forum who have gone this route and remained in Canada without working for a long period of time. Whether you do it or not is your personal choice.

If you are sponsored inland and include an open work permit with your application, you should be granted the OWP after four months. The overall processing of the application will still take around 2.5 years and you shouldn't leave Canada during this time. Also note that you will have to stop working between the time your IEC expires and the time you receive your OWP.

Another option would be to be accepted by a school in Canada and apply for a study permit as an international student. For this to be possible, you would have to have $25K or more funds you can show that you have available to pay for these studies. The studies you plan on taking in Canada must also make sense in light of your previous education and experience.

Otherwise it looks like you have already identified all of the options open to you.

4 months?
In the website says 18 months after (its after 1st phase isn't it?). 4 months would be fantastic so I would apply inland

Also, I believe there is no spanish thread

I don't want PR Card or Citizenship for anything I just want to be with my girlfriend until she finishes studies/gets Canadian citizenship. And for that I need to work
