My file has been transferred to the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa AGAIN!!!

Hi friends,

Something strange is happening, I received and email from CPC-CTD_Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca last week which asked for a scan conpy of my passport. In the email it said: Your file has been transferred to the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa for further review.

I have 2 problems here:

1- They already had the scan of my passport, but they are asking again

2- My case was transferred to the case processing center in Ottawa around 1 year go based on the email that I received 1 year ago.

So, I am very confused, how many times do they transfer your case to the case processing center if it is already there?

Anybody have the same issue?

I received an email from the case processing center 6 month ago and they said they to pay the permanent resident fee, so the case was sent to the processing center in Ottawa, I received another email 3 days ago saying my case was sent to the case processing center in Ottawa for final process. I am not sure how many times they send a case to the same center...

Hi All,

I had a same issue here, yesterday I have received email for further requirement of Form A which I have already submitted 5 months back from now.

It was written in first two lines that your case has been transferred to case processing center Ottawa for further review. It surprised me as my file is there only for more than 18 months.

Anybody else had similar experience. It will be great help if somebody can explain this.

I don't know why some of the agents do that, it happened to me too, none of my other friends had this issue, just send again and wait. You wili get it.

I’m still waiting for our final decision in PR application, last update background check still in progress (it’s been 21 months already), our local MP call the CIC and he said my paper was in Ottawa and they are working on April 2015 applicants, i submitted mine May 2016
