Hi.
My express entry profile was immediately rejected by the system just in several seconds.

These are my questions.
-Is ECA needed at the first submission of the express entry profile?
I selected that I didn't have any ECA for now and I presume that was the cause of the rejection.

-Is my English skill enough to qualify?
My IELTS general score is S:6.0, W:6.5, L:7.5, R:9.0

-When do I have to prepare the proof of job history? I wasn't asked in the profile creation.
And if you have any good justification to ask my company to issue the proof? I don't want to let them know that I am preparing for immigration.

Thanks for your help.

You need 67 points to be eligible and need ECA. Check to see if you have enough points to create a profile with your ECA, IELTS, and work experience. Is your experience Canadian or foreign?

Thanks for your answer.

So, you mean I need ECA beforehand.
My working experience is foreign.
I'm working as a manager in software industry.

You cannot set up a profile without ECA. Please review the program requirements in more detail. This is clearly mentioned there.

Yes, ECA is mandatory. What is your eligibility score…guess what ECA will be equivalent to?

Although I don't know whether this web page is trustworthy or not, I just have calculated my score.
https://canximmigration.com/federal-skilled-worker-program-calculator/
Here is the items that I can get points.

First Official language = 20 points
Speaking IELTS 6.0 = CLB 7
Listening IELTS 7.5 = CLB 8
Reading IELTS 9.0 = CLB 9 and higher
Writing IELTS 6.5 = CLB 8

Second official language = 0

Highest level of education = 23 points
University Degree at the master’s level or equal or University level entry-to-practice professional degree (or equal).

Work experience = 11 to 15points
Is this the summation of working experience? Or just for the specific TEER Category listed job?
If the former one, I will get 15. But if the latter one, I will get 12.

Age = 12 points
I'm now 33 years old.

Any other applicable items.
Total = 66-70

Just use the Canadian government calculator not an immigration consultant. You need one year of full-time, continious, skilled work experience. After that as long as you have documentation you can use other NOCs. Again you really need to research the IRCC site and not some consultant’s site.

Thank you for your answer.
I double-checked on the page you provided.
-I've confirmed that first language score is 20 points
-I have experience in two different jobs, which are respectively listed on TEER cat0&1, for more than 6 years. I presume I can get 15p for work experience.
-I am confident that I can prove I finished a decent master of engineering degree although I haven't got ECA yet. I will get 23p hopefully.
- I'm 33 so age socore is 12.

Total = 20 + 15 + 23 + 12 = 70
So, I just need the result of ECA now?
Don't I need the proof of the jobs at this point?

You need ECA. Whether you are selected or not will depend on your CRS score.

Please research the program requirements in more detail to understand what is required when.

According to a Strategic Policy and Planning report from the beginning of 2023, although candidates may only have one active profile in the pool at any time, candidates may create a new GCKey and then submit a new profile.

Both my husband and I were rejected immediately. Our profile scores show 0 for everything. We submitted our language test scores, employment history, education assessment, everything. We weren't asked for proof of finances but we can provide that. What could we possibly have done wrong?

You either don't qualify or are answering one or more questions incorrectly. Review every single question and your response again very carefully.

That doesn't explain why we would both get zeros. How could we get zero on every single category?

Again, the problem is on your end and you've answered one or more question incorrectly which has made you ineligible for the program. You need to review each question again very carefully to find the problem or problems.

Are you FSW or CEC? If FSW then what is your selection score out of 100. Need 67 points to be eligible to submit a profile.
