Hi,

Me and my wife were invited to apply the Federal Express Entry program almost 12 months ago. Few days ago I found out that our application was sent from Ottawa to Paris/France.

I was wondering what that means for our application? We have applied from Tehran/Iran.

Thanks,
Al

Hi there, mine is in Paris Visa Office as well. All I know it is regular process, ircc may distribute files to different VO's according to workload. Unfortunately, Paris VO has a bad reputation in terms of long processing times. Hope we get our golden mails soon.

Many Thanks for your reply. It clears things off. I thought the applications opened in Iran only go to the Istanbul office. Hopefully the application gets processed soon. Again your reply is much appreciated.

Best Regards,
Ali

12 months ago?! Are in SS?

We were invited for Express Entry around 12 months ago and submitted our files right after that. What does SS mean?

Usual processing time for express entry application is 6 months or less, unless you are marked for Security Screening which takes additional 3-8 months. Do you know why your application takes this long?

Yes, we are marked for Security Screening. The reason why I started this thread was also that I had heard, when your application is sent to Paris or London, there is an issue in your application. But we are not aware of any. Our medical and all other parts of the application are complete.

Also, we have not received any requests or questions from IRCC for any additional information. So we don't know why it is taking that long. All we know now is that our application was sent to Paris few weeks ago. They told us not to send them an email for the next 6 months.

You should order GCMS notes, the reasons for a delay will be outlined there

Anyone in Paris visa office, I emailed Ralph few weeks ago and it looks like I am in Paris VO, I couldn't find a thread up to date on feedbacks on Paris VO.
From Immitracker it looks like it's not a slow visa office but from the feedbacks from here and there, it seems to be one of the worst :)

Anyone?

Paris VO is very fast till Medical done and pre arrival letter. After that the process delays.

I also read about it. Paris has spesial group for deeply checking. But not sure about it.
