My experience with obtaining Temporary Work Permit

Below is the timeline of my Temporary Work Permit to Canada
My Employer submitted Electronic application to IRCC on 07/04/2021.
Received letter from IRCC on 19/04/2021 directing me to submit my passport to IRCC within 30 days for Visa Stamping.
Paid required Courier fee on 22/04/21
Sent passport to Canadian Visa Processing Centre on 26/04/2021
Received passport From IRCC stating that since I already have a Visa (I already have Visitors Visa to Canada) to Canada no new visa stamping is required and a Work Permit would be issued by the Canada Border Service Agency at Port Of Entry
I would appreciate if any body informs me the procedure and/experience of entering Canada because of International Travel Restrictions.
I plan to move to Canada at the earliest through land route via Niagara Falls.

I arrived at Toronto on Thursday and so long as you have the letter of authorisation and proof of the job offer you should be ok.
However
why are you entering by the land border? Is it to avoid quarantine? That might not been seen too well.

Hello Wiggy,

I am coming in from Boston. Drive to Toronto is a mere 6 hour effort. I also got some stuff to move which is why I am thinking of a road trip. I have already been vaccinated. Thinking of getting that vaccination passport as well.
