My EE profile just changed eligibility criteria

Can someone please confirm if my EE profile is supposed to automatically change its eligibility criteria?

So, I created my EE profile on 23/10/2024. I have been officially working for my current employer since my WP was issued on 04/12/2023. It hasn’t been one year yet and I also answered ‘NO’ when prompted with the question - “Has XYZ been working full-time for the employer on their current work permit for at least one year? (Or for an equal amount of part-time work?)”

I logged in today to see that my profile says I’m eligible for CEC and FSW. Since I didn’t make any update, why did the profile eligibility change by itself? By IRCC calculation, it won’t officially be a full-year until January 2025 since I took a 3 week vacation in April 2024 and intend to go on vacation again for 2 weeks next week.

Should I be worried about misrepresentation?

Hey... thatz how it calculates. System does not know u took leave. So you need to break up your experience. Example: worked for xyz co from Dec 2023 to 7 April 2024. And create a new entry with same company from May 2024 onwards.

This happened to me n the next day there was a CEC call and I got invited. Sadly... I had to decline invitation and was advised by consultant to do likewise.

Trust all clear!

The system calculates months, not days. If you started working on December 31st, it'll count a year in November 1st because it'll only count the 12 calendar months. If you received an invitation to apply right now, you would have to decline it and wait until you get invited after completing a full year.

Was your vacation paid or unpaid? If it was paid, you don't need to breakdown your employment. Vacation still count as part of your work experience.

I would advise you to leave things as is. If you do get invited before you complete the full year, then you should evaluate your situation.

CEC draws have been very high in the past two months (530+ points).
