Hi all...First of all..i m new to this forum. So ,suppose if the below mentioned questions have been asked by anyone else before.. i m soo sorry for that...
now lets begin...
I m planning to study in canada..Like as of most students my secret intension is also getting a PR in canada.I contacted a consultancy over at my place. They claims that with any 2 years programs they can guarantee me a PR after the course. Is that 100% true?? But my main doubt is, they also told me that, even if u fail to find out a permanent job, still PR will be easy, by just calculating the total part-time-work hours that i do inbetween my course time.. means if i do part time jobs for more than 850 hours(that too, under different employers) , by just calculating total working hours in canada, one can apply for the PR... I just want to know , whether it is correct, or those consultacy people r faking me for a bussiness..

u can find every detail regarding PR of every province and different classes on www.cic.gc.ca...(PR requiremnets will be changing,so no one can give you a clear idea on what would be after 3years)

if u dont find what ur consultants told, then they are cheating

No - there is no guarantee you will be able to get PR after you finish your course.

PR will be much more difficult to get if you cannot find a permanent job after you finish your courses.

For Canadian Experience Class, the hours you work while you are studying cannot be counted towards PR. Only the hours you work after you finish your studies.

I've been told by the international enrollment advisor at Mt. Royal University in Calgary that not all 2 year diplomas count for an after graduation work permit. She said it depends on the needs of the current job market.

Also, wanting to remain in Canada after your studies is okay. It's called 'dual intent.' Immigration is aware of it and has posted information about it here:
