My CRS score was more than May 2022 AAIP cutoff. But I didn't get any invitation.

I have created express entry profile and have checked Alberta as one of the provinces I am interested in. Also my sister resides in Calgary as a PR.

My CRS score is 453 and May 2022 AAIP cut off for Alberta was 382. But I didn't receive an invite.

What could be the reason ?

Alberta targets specific occupations in their draws and you must not have had an occupation that was on their list for this draw. They don't reveal their NOC lists.

There was round on June 16 as well, lowest CRS 306. Alberta Draws are not same as EE Draws, they can be specific to few NOC's and NOC's further filtered for ex: if you're working in Alberta or living in Alberta or have a sibling in Alberta. All you can do is wait and watch for Alberta NOI

Having a sibling doesn't help in Alberta but living and working surely do.

Who told you so? I got Invite last year being outland and having a sibling in Alberta. It's clearly mentioned on AINP website as well.

It is weird. You have sibling in Alberta. Also your score is 453 and your NOC is high demanding!!!

Same situation for me , on demand job experience, sister in canada but still no Noi. Is it like the noc code is use for a draw once a year? Like if the recent draw was for 22221 they wont target 22221 again later this year?

It is possible. Alberta decides on the NOCs so if they got enough applicants for your NOC in past draws then it will not be selected.
