I agree with visaexpert you need not to be CA to apply for accountant(noc 1111)
With your b.com +15 year experience and if your job profile match with noc code 1111 you are good to go

Hi Saki ,Acceptibility of Academic did not change ,only u hv to subit IELTS to CIO before it was not there...pls give me reference if its so..

Forget the consultant. Wrok your own. You can surely apply in the same category as it was b4 26th June.. so not to worry at al go wid the same category. N ther r many of them who has the same situation. Gud luk for your filing

Degrees are accepted but BCom accountants are NOT accepted.
They do not consider them to be an accountant,they call them bookkeepers.
I am not disappointing anyone but I have come across many such cases.
Just wait and watch.

Who told you, new delhi is not accepting BCom degree?
Many seniors of this forum from India has already got visa on BCom degree and now they are in Canada.

Minimum Requirements are
1. Your points should be 67 out of 100 and
2. You must have at least 1 year of work experience under 29 category (for new candidate) or under 38 category(for old category)

It on this ground his consultant is "playing" to change NOC or change his duties.

yes i am agree,

many of my friend who dont hv CA or CFA got visa based on experience.

its all depends on below mention requirements and your duties must match with NOC also.

Very foolish.Incompetent Consultant.
My concern is still about Bachelor of Commerce degree.Though few members do not agree here but New Delhi has been issuing visas to accountants who are either CA/CFA/MCom/Cost Accountant.
B Coms they rarely take into consideration.They call them bookeepers. OR BCom graduate accountant who has a close relative in Canada were considered.
I would be very keen to know your case.
