Once a status has been listed it doesn't go away, they just tack the new status updates on at the end.

I also had two lines on e-cas for my citizenship application "received" and "in process". The "received" line disappeared. I click on "in process", and there is no change there. This is weird...

From reading the posts all these months, below is what I think it is:

Received line disappearing is indicative of background checks and all other verifications have started.....

Once they are done, then it will be transferred to local office.
