Hello dear friends,

I am in a great trouble due to a very unfortunate series of events. I've applied to come to Canada as a research fellow along with my wife and daughter who is five years old three months ago. Today I've checked my GC account and found out I received PPR. However, when I try to check my daughter's page, I was stunned because I saw she was refused due to a missing document.

What really happened is very heartbreaking. They sent me an additional document request for a birth certificate fifteen days ago. I didn't see it and I was only given a week which I was not aware either. As I've not uploaded the said document in this period of one week, my daughter's visa application was refused.

Now, I've three months to go to Canada and I am helpless. I've tried to create a new application and wanted to receive your opinions before proceeding. I need your help and guidance.

Thanks a lot in advance.

You should reapply as soon as possible and make sure you include the birth certificate this time.

You can also try sending a webform to see if IRCC will reconsider the refusal.

Thanks a lot Scylla,

I have sent a CSE to IRCC but I am not very hopeful about their assistance as we all are aware of their permanent habit of being late. I will complete my application and wait for a few days for their reply.
