Please someone should help me clarify this:
I applied for a 1 year course starting in September 2023 and I have received Visa approval. Just few days ago, my school wrote that they have insufficient space in the program, revoked my initial LOA and now transferred me to a new program which is a 2-year course with a new LOA. Please note that I already paid full tuition for the initial program. They issued me a new LOA and payment receipt. The fee i paid for the 1-year program was transferred by the school as payment of 1st year of the 2-year program. Their reason was that I did not upload my visa on time and the space is filled up. I actually like the new programme and want to accept it
The challenge for me is how this situation would be explained at the POE? Using a different LOA and also with a different length of program
Do I need to notify IRCC? Would changing from 1 year course to 2 years course be an issue?
You advice, experience and suggestion will be appreciated.
