Hey ppl
I am desperately looking for some help. PLZ HELP!
I intend to do a 1 yr pgd course from GBC t411 wireless netwrking this year sept 14

My profile is really messed up

-10th 2004 70%
-12th 2006 55%

-2006 to 2008 gap

-BCA 3 yr 2008-11
Completed in may 2013 aftr clearing 21 backlog with 64%

-Since then i prepared for govt jobs i have all the admit cards as proof

-I have just given IELTS n got 7 with no less than 6 in each section( as required by GBC for this course)

*2006 to 2008 gap
Truth : i got into an engg. College in chandigarh dropped out after 2 years.

I dont know how to explain this gap....it will definitely come up in the visa interview...shud i tell the truth or look for other options.

Plz ppl can you give me an honest idea of how are chances of getting an offer letter from GBC for this course. Even if i get an offer letter will there be a problem getting study permit or visa. Should i look for some other colleges with that kind of profile?

My father has land properties in delhi n mumbai. Will that help in the visa process?may be to convince the visa officr dat i will return back to india...just a thought by the way.

plz help..so i cud finalise a decision of weather to go for canada or look for something here...I am desperate!

Waiting for your reps

What kind of "other" options opposit to telling the truth do you have? :D

Tell the truth. You started your engineering studies and after couple of years you understood : engineering does not interest you so much. It happens. And you went to BCA.

Too much backlogs , however, I would say. Were you not interested in studies again? :)

Did you have any job history? Why SUDDENLY did you decide to go to study in Canada?

Thanx for the rep
Well yes i have no other option but to tell the truth!

I have worked for United Airlines Customer service for about 10 months in 2011 so didnt even appear For backlogs(was taking too much for granted :-[ ). Most of my seperate marksheets have A(absent). It was only wen i left this job that i cleared my pending xams and got through with BCA(bachelor of computer application)

This year i got CCNA(cisco certified network associate) certified. While studying for CCNA i developed a keen interest in networking. One of my teachers suggested me this course.
